What Transcontinental Steel Is Made Of

Our expert technicians have been serving the industry for 50 years

Transcontinental Steel initially was founded in 1989 by Val Casalinho as Val Welding, a small welding company. Initially, the company projects consisted mostly of stairwells and heavy welding. In 1999, Joel Rosenthal joined the company and it became the partnership known today as Transcontinental Steel. The company’s services expanded to include more types of steel work and much larger projects all over the New York City area. In 2014 Val Casalinho retired, leaving Transcontinental Steel as a growing company currently owned and managed by Joel Rosenthal.
